Abstract Background

What is Dothan Behavioral Health?

Initiated in Tennessee, Dothan Behavioral Health offers psychotherapy services in-person and online via the Internet throughout the United States and internationally to individuals, groups, children & youth, the elderly, and families.

Proprietor and one of multiple clinical mental health counselors associated with Dothan Behavioral Health, "Dr. Luke" has been a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider in Tennessee since November 1994. Having worked in several clinical behavioral health settings, his experience has included a variety of individual, group, and family-based treatments in psychotherapy. Board Certified as a National Certified Counselor through NBCC, he has additional Board Certifications in diagnosis and treatment of addiction-related disorders, gerontological counseling for older adults, and is CCE Board Certified nationally in Clinical Supervision and TeleMental Health services.  

 

Moreover, in addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and State Approved Supervisor, he has a DMin and MEd in Counseling, as well as a JD with research emphases in Health Law and Advocacy. He has taught graduate level students at PTS in clinical mental health counseling since 1994, and was selected in 2023 as a Marquis Who's Who Top Health Care Professional.
